Shot this in my back yard. Had to work hard to get it. My son is mentally handicapped(along with his brother) and it's very hard to get him to relax. This is one time I got him to relax by doing some different techniques I've learned. I think it turned out well. Of course the sky was blown so I cut Dennis out and put a layer of 50% gray between him and the background to tone it down, then applied a orange filter to boosted it abit.

That's great, Woody. The focus on your son really pulls you in. I just sort of took in all his features for a while.

Shooting people is a lot of fun. Especially when you feel like the image truly captures the essence of the person. Great shots woody!

Shooting people is the best IMHO. There is an actual interraction with the subject, it's a bigger challenge (for me anyway), and when people see the resluts, it is wonderful to see them happy (usually, if i didn't screw up the shoot! lol)

Great shots Woody. I liked the first one but the second's the best I think. I'm not crazy about the colours though...
