I need to set up MySQL on my Intel-based MacBook Pro but I'm not sure which version I need to download, they have about 4 different ones on their site. Also a few pointers on setting it up wouldn't go amiss. I know next to nothing about MySQL.

Yeah it does. Thanks for the help. I didnt realise OSX had Apache built-in. I found an app called Headress that lets you host more than one site on OSX. Basically all I'm trying to do is set it up so I can test and program my sites on the local system before putting it live. Am I going about this in a long, roundabout way?
