Hey, welcome to the board.
I've had that problem in CorelDRAW and my fix is to conver the text to curves and that seems to fix it. It is only with a few fonts.

I just put this together.
First is normal text
Middle is normal text with "rounded outline"
Last is normal text converted to curves.
