DesignersLounge is a community of artists, developers and associated professionals who take time to help improve everyone's skill set.

We strive to be a friendly, open and helpful place to all members, regardless of race, sex, nationality, age, skill level or any other factor.

We have set aside the following guidelines for all members to follow in order to help us meet our goals.

1. Behavior - All members are expected to treat each other with respect and tolerance. Your behavior is a reflection on our community and you will be warned or possibly even banned should you personally attack a fellow member.
2. Editorial Policy - Staff of DesignersLounge may edit or remove content deemed to be harmful to the members, the community or the site's infrastructure.
3. Illegal Activity - Any illegal activity will be removed on discovery and the poster will be warned or banned from future access to the site.
4. Content Ownership - All content posted by members shall remain property of the poster and he/she shall retain full liability of the work. By posting, the member allows DesignersLounge to host the work for display on the site.
5. Termination of Membership - Membership may be terminated at the discretion of DesignersLounge staff for violation of the guidelines. In extreme circumstances, termination may occur without previous warning.
6. Availability of Service - DesignersLounge makes no claim to availabilty of any service provided. Any service provided may be terminated without previous notice to any member.
7. Remote Access - DesignersLounge may make available interfaces and methods for remote access and to poll it's data, including statistics, usernames, and member comments and posts of work. Access to these services are not guaranteed and may be terminated because of abuse, or undue effect on resources.
8. Private Data - DesignersLounge will make a reasonable effort to protect data that has been deemed private by membership. Any user, member or not, who attempts to circumvent these protections will be prosecuted.
9. Commercial Activity - Users and Members wishing to conduct commercial activity on the site must receive permission ahead of time from a senior level staff member. Activity is reviewed on a per case basis and approval is not guaranteed.
10. Submissions - Any member submitting comments or work is attesting to ownership of the posted content and that the submissions meet the guidelines set forth. Members who post work of others must cite the creating author and must have permission to do so.
11. Updates - Should DesignersLounge update it's Terms of Service, we will publicly post the new document and existing Members will have 14 days to terminate their membership under the previous Terms of Service.
